Really putting forth the effort now. After a testing appointment with my doctor yesterday - I've come to realize I'm getting older and need to focus on eating right, maintaining good physical health & mental health.
Between all of these things - YES they are time consuming but you HAVE to make the effort so you can progress. I really enjoyed tonight because I was able to focus on some really important things in my life: wellness, my relationship, me time and really trying to find my overall happiness. This was found through: me time - Target run and writting a hand written note, wellness: Dan & Christy workout - FUN!, conversation and relaxing time together including going out on a dinner date and catching up on our favorite shows. WONDERFUL.

Lunch: 2oz chicken breast, 1/4 hummus, bell peppers

Weekend of pure food torture! Sandwiches and pasta on Saturday, Burgers, fruit salad and potato chips on Sunday for the game.. delish, but too much!

Boy, this week sure did FLY by! Since my rib/shoulder/back thing has been bothering me I haven't done too much crossfit this week as I've been nursing it while trying to test it too. And while I wasn't Crossfitting, I didn't do much diary entering either so I'm kind of behind. The long and the short of it are that I did Zone pretty well this week with the exceptions of some homemade chicken noodle soup (with TONS of chicken) and Dan's faulter to Rosati's thin crust pizza with sausage and green peppers :)

Labor Day! I'm trying to do anything but labor... however working on cleaning up around the house, lists for grocery shopping and Target, because that stuff still needs to get done.

Finished up my dog sitting job and had the wonderful opportunity to spend time with my family and friends.

Breakfast: at Kiss the Cook in downtown Glendale: 2 eggs over medium, 2 pieces of bacon, small glass of oj, side of fruit and 2 mini muffins w/ butter
Snack: Chips, salsa and guac from Julio's Too some of the BEST chips and salsa in town!, a couple of red stripes
Dinner: Steak Kabob's w/ red, green, yellow bell peppers and red onion
Desert: Med DQ blizzard w/ girl scout Tagalong's included :) so delish but so rich!
Sooo... needless to say, I'm feeling like I need to get back on the diet. Feeling really lazy, tired.

Started it off with the Hawkeyes game, viewed at Salty Seniorita's in Mesa. Followed by eating crap food all day and enjoying an early evening without spending money :)

Breakfast: 3 egg omlette w/ steak, zucchini, tomatoes, mushrooms, jack cheese, and pico de giao and a few pacifico's
Late Lunch: Fry's fresh supreme pizza, sweet tea vodka & lemonade
Snack: Individual serving of naked popcorn
I also had the chance to relax and enjoy some alone time, which was awesome! I finially watched "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and I really enjoyed it!

Yet another big day! Dan said I "really stepped it up" because I was in to work early, went to CF 2260 to complete another gnarly workout (man... I hope I get strong fast - it will help SO MUCH), home for a quick freshen up and off to belly dance.

Such a great day! Busy, BUSY at work and then I got to spend an entire evening with a friend I haven't seen in ages - my former roommate Tina. We enjoyed catching up, renting a movie and "making" dinner. It was really a wonderful day, but man - I still feel so exhausted from yesterday... so bed SHORTLY!
CF: Day off
Breakfast: 2 eggs scrambled with bell peppers in olive oil, 5/8 cup grapes
Lunch: Chicken Minestrone Soup
Snack: 2 oz deli ham & colby jack cheese, 1/2 pink lady apple
Dinner: Cheat meal to the max... kinda... salad and thin crust & crispy red barron 5 cheese pizza with pineapple on top
Snack: fist full of dried fruit and cashews
Tomorrow to the gym AND to belly dance! Oh and can't forget to prepare for my dog sitting job that starts Thursday night through Sunday :)
